The government has been granted permission to appeal the decision so the proscription of Palestine Action remains in place for now. At the Witness Bloc, we will be acting as witnesses to the policing of the Defend Our Juries lift the ban action, exposing the authoritarian use of counter-terrorism powers to silence dissent and criminalise solidarity. For over two decades, these laws have been built to marginalise Muslims. Today, that same legal architecture is being weaponised to suppress dissent and crush resistance against the live-streamed genocide in Gaza.
