In 6,000km of #rivers across the #Clyde catchment, we only find these black-tailed trout in fewer than 10km.
This is the result of metal toxicity - part of our industrial legacy and still killing fish.

Looks like more bad news for #GlasgowHeritage = walked past the ABC and noticed that a Dangerous Building Notice has been served. It requires the owners to demolish and remove the front and side facades with work to be completed by 9 December 2024. Is this game over…🤔🤷♂️😢?

Six years after a fire caused extensive damage to the venue, Glasgow's former ABC Regal Cinema on Sauchiehall Street looks set to be demolished. However the classical arch (by Charles J. McNair, 1929) survives intact and should be retained as part of the proposed new development. Glasgow: Don't make the same mistake as Liverpool and the appalling loss of The Futurist Cinema - when it's gone, it's gone for good.
