i am probably gonna be in the minority and as a disclaimer, i have not watched the anime nor read the manga, but based on what i saw from the clip—this is typical from an Asian household, where parents are not really good on checking with their kids (of course, there are exceptions). I’ve been in the exact situation as Nakamura where I just went home wailing and being hysterical, but my guardians had no idea what was really going on. probably for them, it’s just a kid being a kid, nothing serious, and goddamn it sucks, because no matter what age, pain is pain, you wish the world stops but it doesn’t.
