@batugreedisland Misha is the type whose hands shake at the thought of killing a person but this is counterbalanced and ever so slightly outweighed at the idea of being a hero in the most true sense. Very "A man will do anything if he thinks it is moral. You can convince a man anything is moral."
English

@batugreedisland I don't believe it shows through in the movie but in the tv show hawkeye is a very sincere pacifist and has probably a few dozen episodes to this point. Won't even hold a gun... he also is a very deeply guilty character but totally nonviolent which i think is not quite misha...
English

@batugreedisland absolutely. this is his most misha point. Also the....... well. The match thing at the very start. His tendencies. Must I say it aloud
English

@sunopticon YES... one of my highlight of the movie (and other Lawrence adaptations) are how they depicted his guilt and how much he wants to belong in something. It's just so good
English

@batugreedisland I know very little about the real Lawrence and such had neither background nor proper framing (most of what I know was from googling during youtube ad breaks) but I really enjoyed his arc I think them not making him out to be a perfect hero makes it far more compelling
English

@batugreedisland I really liked that Lawrence is not treated as a classical hero type in the slightest. I could sort of feel that it would be a commentary and guessed pretty early that his sensibilities would lead him down the path it did but wasn't sure especially with the age... it's good.
