Listening to @WNYC hosts celebrating the station’s 100th birthday by talking about the work with the station by New Yorker Tony Schwartz, creator of the Lyndon Johnson “Daisy” ad. I interviewed Schwartz, who died in 2008, about the ad in the late 1990s for a master’s course.

Bad news, #IAMCR24 friends: I just tested positive for COVID. I attended the opening keynote (sat on back row) interacted with a few people at the reception. Vaccinated and boosted several times, most recently just before Xmas. Of course, I won’t be back to the conference.

Pleased to have made it to the Te Pae in Christchurch, New Zealand, for the opening session of #iamcr24 I’m (still) a little jet lagged and battling allergies, but I’m here!

After 41 wonderful years as a faculty member, I'm retiring. It's been a great run, but it's time end this chapter. The next chapter will include a lot of travel, some research, a little bit of consulting, and lots of leisure. Wish me luck!
