Probably the biggest mistake KKR made this season was to make Andre Russell the coach and not use him as an-rounder. The ploy of keeping him in the KKR dug out and not letting other franchises buy him at auction hasn't worked. Isn't he still a better all-rounder than the Rs 25 cr Cameron Green? The answer is obvious.

I was wondering why MI, with probably the most awesome assemblage of talent is playing tentative cricket compared to teams like RR and Punjab. And I feel some part of it is definitely because they are carrying the weight of 5 titles and a proud lineage, huge personal reputations and the expectations of a huge fan base. Punjab and RR are still having fun and building reputations and franchise history, their players are like Head and Abhishek were a couple of years ago, playing free and fearless cricket. @joybhattacharj There should be only 6-7 test centres. Kohli has said it earlier, but the board politics and this rotation is ridiculous. Rotate odi and t20I, but @BCCI is the only place where all political parties are friend.

What if the Boxing Day test was rotated to a new venue every year, or they played Wimbledon by rotation every year across clubs in the UK. No Centre court, no Kipling poem, fries and rings instead of strawberries and cream. Sport thrives on tradition, on records and champions and legendary encounters, on hallowed turfs Test cricket is struggling, to play it in venues which don't even have tradition on their side is not a great idea.
