In Todd Whitaker’s book “What Great Teachers Do Differently,” he states “Great teachers have high expectations for students, but have even higher expectations for themselves.” As educators, we must self-reflect and evaluate our own performance.

Some kids have drama at home, drama on the bus, and drama in the hall. It’s great when classrooms can be a safe haven for students. That's something teachers can create... but it doesn't happen by accident.
