@theemikehobart I like this a lot. The tweet definitely portrayed that I do not rest, which is not the case. In training for this ultra I’m putting more miles on than Garmin thinks is normal. My thoughts on this are too nuanced for a tweet

@tech_cricket84 We’ve learned to take a break after each 1-2 hr loop. She tells me when she’s ready for the next one. We knew we were done but damn, that view is pretty spectacular, eh? And finally some overcast days with perfect temps and breezes 🤣

The mind is willing but the flesh is weak. We’d do more but we’re wore out. 4 days, 12/34 miles, gnarly canyons, tight brush, infinite thorns, countless excellent vistas and many fond memories. My heart is full and my pup wags her tail when she sleeps. ❤️
