@ChaosMinx27 @notheradasha Clearly you don’t live in Ontario and if you do clearly you do not sell alcohol in an establishment. When you order alcohol it is through the lcbo to resell. And it is Ontario law to have a smartserve or you lose your liquor license. Thanks

@ChaosMinx27 @notheradasha Stores have to still buy from LCBO. They just become a distributor now. Easy revenues and more of it. To say nothing of the revenue from the license to sell and the certifications the staff have to buy to sell it. It’s a triple dip of revenue.

@notheradasha LCBO are unionized. Convenience stores are not. Selling beer & wine in convenience stores means less sales at LCBO, which will mean unionized job cuts. It also increases risk of robbery at convenience stores. It's privatization, which means it will also cost more. Not good.
