We are delighted to invite you to the International Cultural Festival at Horizon International School on March 4th. Our school takes great pride in the diverse cultural backgrounds of our students and staff, and we want to celebrate and share this diversity with our community.

A team of secondary students from our Sports Committee, ABC, grade 10, and the Marine Club have teamed up to put on a 2 day event to raise money for those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

According to research, the mere presence of a cell phone can trip some of our deepest brain wiring and drain cognitive resources. What does it mean for learners? "Physical separation from the phone is the only effective solution."

The arts—music, theater, drawing and painting—are powerful tools for making sense of the world. New studies are beginning to pull them back towards the center of the academic curriculum.

Lab work is an integral part of the chemistry experience. It allows students to explore chemical concepts, view changes in matter, and acquire scientific skills in an atmosphere that mimics a professional scientific environment.

In summary: (1) Family time is limited—cherish it. (2) Friend time is limited—prioritize real ones. (3) Partner time is significant—never settle. (4) Children time is precious—be present. (5) Coworker time is significant—find energy. (6) Alone time is highest—love yourself.
