Given that the federally-funded Canadian Anti-Hate Network (CAHN) was both modelled after and funded by the Southern Poverty Law Centre (SPLC), and given that it’s been involved in multiple controversies, a full investigation into CAHN’s activities with SPLC should be completed.

Wow. The SPLC is accused by the DOJ of paying millions to neo-Nazis, KKK members & far-right extremists to organize, and then using that as evidence that people needed to donate to the SPLC. The SPLC raised hundreds of millions and has been cited for years by liberal media as a credible source on the claim of rising hate under Trump. They've put me on their Hate Watch list, and their spokesman @MichaelEHayden repeatedly targeted me.

I'm shocked that Erin O'Toole and Lisa Raitt would agree to serve on Carney's new Canada-US council. They should know the purpose of this council is to provide cover for the Liberals when they deliberately fail to make a deal with the US. Now they're pawns in Carney's game. Pathetic move by these two, especially given there is basically zero representation from the western provinces.

BREAKING: Liberals have created a Canada-US council which includes the former leader of the Conservative Party.
Mexico has a preliminary agreement with the US, while Canada has a new council.
Frankly speaking, I think It’s a scape goat or hedge for when they fail.
Carney has already set us down this path. Especially considering his inflammatory video launched this weekend.
This way, they can say “see, we tried to negotiate something and we even had Conservatives on the council”.
We don’t need a council, we need a deal done. And they already have a team to do that.
I think this is all for show.
So they can say that they put partisanship aside and they “tried their best” which is far from the truth.
They have escalated things and have had no meaningful discussions of a deal SINCE LAST YEAR.
Worth noting: noticeably absent from this list, are tech entrepreneurs, self-made billionaires (ie. Tobi Lutke), & Canadian Innovators.
Personally, I hope I’m wrong.
And they succeed.
But a council doesn’t get a deal done.
The buck stops with the government.
