I just found it weird that in both versions everyone is indifferent to the age gap, and in the US one his parents are fine with him being with a full on adult. In the US version there was a tiny bit of pushback , but overall…it was alarming how relaxed everyone was about the age difference.

Same with "Call me by my Name". Really? But if you watch the movie, I considered them as peers of a sort.
