Ross Chastain says Joey Logano gave him a call on Monday following their accident at Phoenix that Logano was contrite over causing. Ross says he and Logano have a good working relationship and "We're fine. Totally good." Ross now has a hole to dig out of at 23rd in points, so we talked about that while also looking ahead to Las Vegas, where he's had great success with Trackhouse but had a disappointing outing last fall.

Wishing @Alex_Bowman the best. It was a privilege to be chosen to fill in for him at Phoenix Raceway this past weekend, although no driver wants to step in under these circumstances. I take great pride in what I do at @TeamHendrick as their simulator test driver, and going from #Sim2Reality together has been a valuable experience for us to build on. I am beyond thankful for all the men and women at HMS who believe in me, as well as their partners. It was exciting to crack the top 10 on an alternate strategy before getting taken out on a restart. I wish we could’ve seen it play out in the end.
