The results of all my scholarship applications are finally in. I ended up applying to 52 fully funded and partially funded international scholarships and leadership fellowships between November 2025 and February 2026. And since I promised to share my testimony with all of you kind souls who were rooting and praying for me when my first scholarship post below went viral… here it goes: Out of 52 applications, I got 45 outright rejections. Back to back. Some even came two in a day. As I was opening one email, another one would come in. For Erasmus CLMCE, I got placed on the reserve list, aka pray that someone turns down their scholarship so we might consider you. I’m not counting on that one, for obvious reasons. Then I got into Erasmus MARIHE, not fully funded, but with full tuition waived/ no participatory costs. I also received five significant partial scholarships (two of them at 50%) across the UK schools I applied at for my Commonwealth and Chevening applications. Currently trying to decide if I’m trying my dream school again later this year with a stronger application, or if I’m moving forward with one of the options I have now. Overall, this has been a powerful experience.

If he was tired the best thing to do is get a divorce. Whether she might have faulted or not it’s still unfair.

Naso he be jor. I’m tired of talking about it. Another solid point is a bigger percentage of the men are in prison (mistakenly or internationally). Meanwhile I can tell you for a fact, even if you can’t get married, pls find means to get a child or children. Loneliness at old age is something people don’t talk much about. Mutual? It's time to accept the reality that many Nigerian women will never find a man to marry them not because they're bad but because of the three following reasons: One, over the years, men have been disenamoured with the concept of marriage. They have discovered that there's nothing you can get in a marriage that you cannot get outside of marriage. So, many men would rather have baby mamas than commit the rest of their lives to one woman. Two, most of the men willing to get married do not have the financial capacity to do so, due to the sorry state of the Nigerian economy. And instead of the women they're dating to join finances together, plan with them and build a family from a small place, they expect only the men to carry all the responsibilities of marriage. This discourages men who don't have much from getting married. Three, the overwhelming proportion of unmarried women is 30+, and no man who has enough resources to get married wants to marry a 30+ woman. He would rather go for women between 18 and 24. So, this means that many older women will never find a man to marry them. You may dispute the foregoing but the reality stares us in the face.
