Year 38 of teaching is in the books. Looking forward to reading a lot of books 📕 this summer.

5th Grade Egg Drop @CloughPikeElem It was a perfect morning for our Egg Drop. Three boxes survived the first drop. Two the second drop but sadly none survived the third drop.

Another year of @MarathonKids @CloughPikeElem is in the books so proud of all of the work the kids put in.

Fifth grade students @CloughPikeElem proved Newton’s 2nd Law of motion by experimenting with different weights to determine the affects on the force needed to move an object.

Fifth graders @CloughPikeElem enjoyed hearing the @WestCler high school band and trying out instruments.

The best snow days happen when you don’t have to go anywhere.

On the first day of Spirit Week. We have hat and headband day.

@CloughPikeElem started their 16th year of training for the @RunFlyingPig Final Mile. We are using the @MarathonKids program to track our progress.

Fifth grade science students @CloughPikeElem are finding some amazing bones in their owl pellets this year.

We had so much fun running a virtual @RunFlyingPig Queen Bee half marathon this morning.

It’s Spirit Week @CloughPikeElem

5th grade science students @CloughPikeElem explored the energy roles of predators and prey. They reported that they felt powerful when they were predators and anxious when they were prey.
