There should be a word limit on academic posters, and that limit should be < 50.

@oesteban @eurunuela @emdupre_ You could probably decompress the files before reading them in since RAM is a bigger bottleneck than disk space.

@oesteban @eurunuela @emdupre_ What’s the random access issue? If the data type is known and the offset is known, you can calculate how far into an uncompressed file a particular voxel will be.
