@esterbagi honestly i feel the same with a lot of the women in the game. it feels like being a mother is pushed on most of the female cast in the craziest of ways. like i already mentioned my feelings about fragile and this was part of the second game that i really hated.

some things in death stranding felt like familyslop to me which is why I was lowkey supporting higgs’s cause

i hate a lot of shit in fandom, especially the whole anti/profic debate. i don't really give a fuck unless it's bigoted or involves paedophilia, then i draw the line. other than that, i just try to find people to talk about shit i've seen with, but it's always a damn mess

and that's not even getting into the issue with the concept of pornography in general: its definition is sexual content without meaning, but it's extraordinarily easy for the government to twist it to mean any remotely sexual art by a populace they oppress

it's hard because there's obviously a blatant push for age verification and such because of the imperial boomerang hitting and governments wanting to be able to track the citizens they oppress as much as possible in order to incarcerate them

and even though i hate the real life porn industry, i feel like using the term porn addiction just is too close to legitimizing the same sort of mindset that many paedophiles in government are using to get age verification pushed

besides, the rape academy had men giving out their full addresses to receive drugs. really, the rape academy was completely out in the open and the cops just did not give a fuck to properly investigate or prosecute anyone flagrantly involved because it doesn't matter to them
