although i know the reason they changed this from a design standpoint, i do think whoever thought of giving him "front quills down-back quills shorter" in the concept art WAS cooking ngl. this way, Silver DOES look like Sonic from the shadows, until he uses his powers that is.

@DevontePowell10 in their defense, its probably for distinct silhouette purposes. silver here with shorter quills and have them down looks more like Sonic, shape-wise. (though probably by design, that'd explain the narrative of Amy and Elise mistaking him as Sonic, at least from just head shape)

@zillaking422 As a sonic and Spyro fan, this happens on a weekly basis😭 and boils down to "guys what if they announced a game...?!" Each time and ends with "so basically they COULD be making a game, but we will have to wait and see"

Cant we just be patient and wait til they officially announce it, if it is happening? Not trying to sound annoyed, but this this cycle has been going on since Crash 4 and nothing entirely has been 100% confirmed. If the game is happening then it will happen, when its announced.

Style and quality changes over time. top was only a sketch to refer to, but I used it to really "complete" the design. It's based on whats natural for me when I draw him, mixing official art, including Dawn of the dragon on DS, and my childhood hc. #spyro
