@GOVUK @HMRCgovuk Thanks. Is the 80% payable on the gross or net cost? Must be on the net, surely? You wouldn’t get employers to play income tax on costs you are funding. That would be daft.

Still no update on how the #JobRetentionScheme will work. I really don't expect miracles and am hugely sympathetic, our civil servants have quite a bit on at the moment, but it would be handy to know more over the next couple of days. @GOVUK @HMRCgovuk 👍👊
