@KevinAdams26 I agree. I'd assume redoing divisions would save a lot of money on travel as well. I get that they'd be going away from the AFL/NFL history, but I think it's worth it now considering most fans aren't old enough for that to matter to them

@SportsTalk_304 Yup. Jets and Giants share a stadium and are in two different conferences. Somehow the dolphins get lumped in with the Pats, Jets and Bills. I’m just saying I think the league misses out on the excitement of those types of games.

I don't think Danny Briere gets enough credit for both the Matvei Michkov and Porter Martone picks. Michkov was a big question mark in 2023. With the tensions between the USA and Russia at the time, the problems with Ivan Fedotov the Flyers already had, and Michkov's three year KHL contract as well, nothing was guaranteed. Danny still went with his gut at pick 7, took Michkov, and got him over here after one year pretty easily. We then saw him immediately hit the ground running scoring 111 points in his first 160 games. Martone fell to Danny at pick 6 in 2025, and it was a tough pick between him and James Hagens as the Flyers desperately needed a center. Danny stayed calm and did not panic pick the center because he was a center. He decided the Flyers needed to go best player available and took Martone. Martone has had an immediate impact in a late season playoff run with 8 points in 8 games and has looked like one of the best players on the ice every night. You're not going to hit on every first round pick, that's not logical, but to hit on two superstars in three years while picking 6th and 7th? That's impressive and deserves a lot of credit.
