@Osint613 JD really is a buffoon for pushing this resolution and believing it. Insanity. Iran can fun their own reconstruction. Gulf Coast nations should not pay them $1. What a complete joke.

Vice president JD Vance: "[$300B reconstruction fund] is the sort of thing they could have access to funded by the Gulf Coast Coalition so long as they honor their end of the obligation!" "I think that one of the things you're going to see it and people have to be skeptical of this is that the hardliners in the Iranian system will overemphasize the benefits that Iran gets while under emphasizing all the things that they have to concede and all the things they have to provide in order to get these benefits." "So we absolutely are open to the Gulf Coast countries investing in the reconstruction of Iran, but only if Iran ends their nuclear program, ends their enriched stockpile of material, and it's really open to an inspections and enforcement regime that gives the American people confidence they're never going to have a nuclear weapon."

This is good news for the markets, but what matters is the details. So let’s set objective standards right now: Good deal: - Removal of enriched nuclear material - Freeze of nuclear program with clear inspections and inspection mechanism - Sanctions relief dependent on ending support for terror proxies in other countries. - suspension of ballistic missile program - End control of S of H. - Tehran does not dictate what happens in Lebanon. Meh deal (~JCPOA): - Give up enriched nuclear material and freeze of nuclear program in exchange for some sanctions relief - Return to free trade flow on SoH - Sanctions related to terror support remain in place until terror proxy funding ends Bad deal: - Financial bailout with no concrete commitment on nuclear material or program and no direct mechanism for enforcement - No limits on support for terror proxies tied to sanction relief The MOU can be an intermediary step but can only be considered good if it allows outcome above without US giving up leverage first. Because then step 2 will never happen and no amount of spin can sell a bad deal.

If The New York Times got its hands on leaked audio recordings from the Situation Room, then we have a massive national security crisis on our hands. That very likely means our enemies know everything that’s been said in that room, at least since Trump took over. This should be a massive scandal.

SCOOP: Top White House officials believe NYT reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan obtained audio recordings of Situation Room meetings for their new book. Such a taped leak would be a shocking breach of one of the most secure settings on Earth. axios.com/2026/06/14/tru…

Syracuse announced a financial deficit this week after missing their enrollment target. They cite demographics + geopolitics, but the answer is much simpler: There are 5.7k higher ed institutions in the US, charging way too much for something that is worth less than ever

INTERESTING REPORT: The same U.S. platforms sold to Qatar despite Pentagon warnings about technology leakage, the F-15QA, AH-64E Apache, and MQ-9 Reaper, are the very aircraft types later downed or lost during Operation Epic Fury against Iran. An F-15QA was shot down over Iran, an Apache was lost over the Strait of Hormuz, and multiple MQ-9s were destroyed during the campaign. Qatar’s security cooperation agreement with Iran has long raised concerns among critics that sensitive U.S. technology or military know how could ultimately find its way to Tehran. The question now is whether warnings once dismissed as hypothetical helped Iran develop countermeasures against some of America’s most advanced aircraft. Via MEMRI

My brother surprised me with tickets to this game. The crowd, the vibe was something else I had never experienced before. Growing up playing hockey to witnessing our fav team winning their first cup EVER was everything. Very special moment to witness in person. I’ve got the chills re-watching. Thanks for sharing.

On June 11, 2012, the @LAKings were crowned Stanley Cup champions after a 6-1 win over the New Jersey Devils in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final. Jonathan Quick won the Conn Smythe Trophy, and Dustin Brown became the first #LAKings' player to lift the Stanley Cup. #GoKingsGo

Leftist publication The Intercept blamed Donald Trump and his supporters for multiple bomb threats on Jewish institutions in February 2017. It turned out the threats came from one of The Intercept's staff reporters, Juan Thompson. He was convicted and sentenced to 60 months in prison.

History's first trillionaire is a guy who catches rockets out of the sky with chopsticks and beams internet to every dead zone on the planet. Same guy ships cars that drive themselves, humanoid robots for the factory floor, brain chips that let paralyzed people move a cursor with pure thought, and an AI running on a supercomputer his team stood up in months instead of years. And the people crashing out about his net worth are doing it on the app he owns. The same app governments spent years trying to censor. You cannot legislate a rocket into orbit.

My favorite @elonmusk quote that I often send friends: Do not fear losing. “You will lose,” Musk says. “It will hurt the first fifty times. When you get used to losing, you will play each game with less emotion.” You will be more fearless, take more risks.

You are smarter than this Ro. Imagine if Bernie had taxed @elonmusk 100% on his PayPal capital gains. We would have no @Tesla or @SpaceX - none of those jobs or GDP. Who do you think allocated the capital better for society? He will already pay $100 B + in taxes - more than any human ever. I hope he donates some to kids via @TrumpAccounts to make every kid a shareholder in 🇺🇸 & continues investing all his heart, soul & money for the benefit of America & all humanity! 🇺🇸🚀🤍
Ro Khanna@RoKhanna

Musk is worth more than South Africa’s GDP. @BernieSanders and I proposed a 5% tax on people like him. In one year, it could fund: - free public college & trade school -$10/day childcare - Special-needs education nationwide Wealth inequality is the moral failure of our time.
