I have a friend who married early because his partner (let’s call her Sade) got pregnant while he was still in 200L in school. He dropped out to provide, lived minimally, and even set up a shop for her. They had two kids, and he gave everything to make it work.
Then things changed. One faithful afternoon, An older married man approached him, warning him to tell his wife (Sade) to stay away from his family. It turned out she had been involved with the man for years, and the man wanted to end the relationship but Sade is insisting and attacking his family.
This betrayal broke my friend's marriage, and after constant fights, she packed her bags and left.
One year later, my friend who seemed to have moved on and already has a new girlfriend suddenly, broke up with his girlfriend and said he wants to take Sade back despite all my advice against it.
I've tried and tried to convince him against that decision but it's so futile
I’ve stepped back from convincing him at this point because I'm tired.
I have my suspicions about what happened with Sade suddenly… but I could be wrong. lol
