Titled "Code and Cosmos," the piece argues that Arab media art is an inventive field: where script operates as computation, immersion becomes empathy, and digital infrastructures become civic and pedagogical spaces.

Alfredo Cramerotti, Director of the Media Majlis Museum, charts how artists across the Gulf, Levant, and North Africa are redefining media art on their own terms, in a new essay for Media Art 21 co-written with curator Auronda Scalera.
