Two ways I see sales reps lose the prospect:
• Clinging to scripts to appear confident, projecting energy to mask the safety net.
Where it fails: This is performing, not being present with them.
• Mirroring the prospect to build rapport.
Where it fails: You do want to connect with the prospect, but "being a chameleon" signals that you're not leading. That immediately shakes a prospect off as risk to where they're going.
The blocker here is always you (the sales rep) yourself.
There's a risk to "being seen" -- but that's ultimately what we are all interested in when interacting with each other.

It certainly can be a risk but also we’re paid much more quickly because of accepting CCs. If they cancel their payment there is most likely a more significant underlying issue.
They would also lose their CC points if they did that. We also don’t ship our cabinetry until we have received full payment. Typically 50% up front and 50% prior to shipping. Install fees are collected after install.

@alexforbes__ @shawngorham sweet, only been taking checks/wires/zelle for the longest. Might incorporate CC into the mix. Thanks!

@alexforbes__ @shawngorham never had an issue with cancelled payments?

@shawngorham We accept credit cards and prefer electronic payments (CC or ACH). We just run it through quickbooks where all estimates and invoicing is generated from.
3% fee baked into price because 9/10 customers pay with a card. Many business customers do as well.
