Siaran pers LBH-YLBHI Hentikan Brutalitas, Kekejaman dan Tindakan-Tindakan Tidak Manusiawi dalam Menangani Demonstrasi “Hingga hari ini LBH-YLBHI mencatat setidaknya 3337 orang ditangkap, 1042 mengalami luka-luka dan dilarikan ke rumah sakit, serta 10 Orang Meninggal” YLBHI menilai Pemerintah Prabowo sedang menyebarkan ketakutan terhadap warga negaranya sendiri. Penggunaan kekerasan, tuduhan kriminal (makar, terorisme) terhadap warga, penangkapan, penyerbuan, dan penembakan gas air mata yang terjadi di dalam kampus, dan pengerahan tentara dalam patroli sudah menunjukkan bahwa aparat gabungan tidak lagi bergerak untuk mengamankan jalannya aksi, namun sudah mengarah pada represi sistematis dan bentuk teror terhadap rakyat. YLBHI mengingatkan Pemerintah untuk instrospeksi diri dan tidak abai terhadap berbagai tuntutan rakyat yang disuarakan melalui aksi massa.
