As her case is now heard in court, the full story is coming out. The man in question, Ilia Belov, is alleged to have told the child: “Come here sexy. I will show you how to have a good time”. It’s also claimed he had been harassing her and her friends all aged 12 to 14 while they waited at a bus stop. When the group spoke up for themselves, he is said to have physically assaulted them. CCTV evidence reportedly captures Belov attacking the girl and pushing her to the ground. This case is still ongoing. Let’s remember: we only had part of the picture before. Now the context explains why this child felt she needed to defend herself. Had to protect herself as the police would do fuck all.
