During the moment when they were taking song recommendations from ARMY and asking, “What do you want to listen to?”, Jungkook didn’t clearly understand which song the fan was referring to at first. An ARMY was trying to explain “21st Century Girl” by using hand gestures (☝🏻✌🏻), and Jungkook simply followed those gestures to understand what she meant. And at the end, when he pointed back, it was because the song had started playing not because he was pointing toward Jimin. However, some people are completely misinterpreting this situation and spreading false narratives. They are claiming that he was asking whether the fansite wanted a solo photo of him or a photo with Jimin, and that he was looking around for Jimin because of that. That is not true at all. He was not asking about taking pictures with Jimin. He was just reacting to and following the fan’s hand gestures to figure out the song being requested. The entire interaction was about understanding the song, nothing else. People are unnecessarily twisting a simple and harmless moment into something else to fit their own narrative.
