@ukht_hali @yasminnn___x hmm don't be too harsh on yourselves, Allah will judge you based upon the situation you're in. We're living in times where even praying 5x is extreme, and every haram is normalised. Yet to stay steadfast in these times, that's an extremely difficult test.

@mxrza189 The Prophet taught us what we should do if a person sees something in his dream that he dislikes and wakes up as a result. It is: spitting dryly to the left, seeking refuge with Allah from the devil, turning over, praying if one wants, and not telling people about it.

my 4 year old cousin was hit by a car today. Alhamdulillah she’s okay. I witnessed her non verbal sister’s emotional intelligence in real time. she was watching her distressed mum n mirrored emotions, started shaking n tearing up but didn’t know what was going on. it was intense.

Farewell to Ramadan Shaykh Saleh Al Usaymi: O believing men and women, bid farewell to Ramadan with supplication to Allah and asking for His forgiveness. Let each of you persistently plead with his Lord as he wishes, paying attention to comprehensive supplications. Among the most beneficial is to ask Allah to accept one’s deeds and to show mercy in fulfilling one’s hopes—for the servant does not know whether his deeds are accepted or not. And the best way to conclude righteous deeds is with continuous seeking of forgiveness. Allah, the Exalted, says: “Indeed, Allah accepts only from the muttaqīn.” And He says: “And seek forgiveness of Allah. Indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.” Those who came before from the righteous predecessors would strive to complete their deeds, and when they finished them, they feared that they might be rejected. They hoped for acceptance, yet feared rejection. Fuḍālah ibn ‘Ubayd said: “For me to know that Allah has accepted from me the weight of a mustard seed would be more beloved to me than the world and all it contains.” For Allah says: “Indeed, Allah accepts only from the muttaqīn.” ‘Abd al-‘Azīz ibn Abī Rawād said: “I witnessed them striving in righteous deeds, and when they performed them, anxiety would fall upon them—whether it would be accepted from them or not.” 🎙 خطبة (وداع رمضان)

True Repentance (التوبة) Sh. Bin Bāz رحمه الله: If a person fulfills these 3 conditions then he is truthful in his repentance; • Regret over the sin committed (الندم) • Abstaining from committing bad deeds (الإقلاع) • & Firm resolve to not return to the sin (العزم)

@lifes_a_lemon Like with any good deed, it's tawfiq. We can only ask Allah to have mercy upon us and give us the ability to do actions which are pleasing to him.

I highly recommend surrounding yourself with God fearing people. Their obedience to Allah naturally keeps you in check. They’ll make you think twice when you skip a prayer. They don’t let you get comfortable with sins. They push you to do better, give more, and seek knowledge. And over time, their habits start rubbing off on you.

One of the best scholars of all time, may Allah have mercy upon him.
