@WKGamesMain @WafiPlays123 Don't worry about it, it was a joke because there's this trend going around where people are "buffing" popular levels but putting a giant blacked out circle over a part. It's a joke trend thats all haha. Crazy level for a 9 star btw, nicely done!

@WafiPlays123 I edited that in - the reason is at that part in the level the entire screen goes black and you could see my silhouette in the reflection of the phone screen If there are legitimacy concerns, here’s what my screen recording captured so you can compare to the hand cam footage

@rgbinOmaha @Daxank_live Oh a small correction, input lag has no perceived impact in smoothness, it's purely the increased framerate showing between-frames that make an image smoother. The tradeoff is smoother visuals but higher input lag!

@rgbinOmaha @Daxank_live Depends on your use case! I often scale games from 120 -> 240 frames on half vsync (480hz) which significantly makes it smoother, while the latency is near identical! I will agree on framerates less than 120 it's noticeable, however, my eyes do prefer a smoother image :)

@rgbinOmaha @Daxank_live Many games, especially with a controllable camera with a mouse, are not smooth on high refresh rates if your framerate is capped at 60 to some people, myself included! Fg can be a useful tool for things like that. Not ideal, but it's certainly better than nothing!

@STARxd__ That's not what this is. These are just tools game creators can use if they choose to alter game graphics. They have to want their game to look like this with dlss for it to happen. This is just a showcase of these tools for developers to see what's possible, that's all

Imagine how the people who put in hard work creating this character feel when they see that people are playing their game with a shitty snapchat beauty filter over their creation

@sdslayer100 does this happened in borderless/fullscreen? I can replicate this issue when in windowed mode,

@toadstar0 I did have that on apparently and I disabled it, but it still seems to be having this problem. I suspected it was maybe a Geode mod thing since the game seemed to run fine with no mods, but that makes no sense to me. no way GD mods that thousands of people have are causing this

Does anyone have any tips on how to make GD run better while OBS is open? Even minor frame drops (230-238fps instead of 240) are still really visible on the monitor. I've tried high priority, closing browser, etc You can see this in this video especially after I hit the blue orb

@ChaiDeluxe Normally id agree as i hate the drops system, but this makes sense. We know they're working on changing over to vulkan, amongst other huge things like vibrant visuals. It makes sense for them to give us a real small, easy to make update right now during the wait.

@yosuashin That's fair, but something similar to that, to give everyone strong enough a fair shot to be in legends for the badge and rewards, as that is a big goal for players, but to expand legends as a whole to a larger system to give room for scaling difficulty without exploits like that

@toadstar0 So what if I’m at 5499 and I do 300 on offense because the game is easier vs someone at 5501 and they do 230 on offense? Drawing a line halfway would create many issues

This is no game design. It’s the blind developers being led by the blind casuals. YouTube is an echo chamber. Casuals demand triples despite doing 50%+ of the attack incorrectly. All because you made the last 2 years the worst metas of all time, 3 stars everywhere in the game. A high 2 star should feel rewarding. Being in electro 32 should feel rewarding. These are still the upper achievements in the game yet players feel disappointed UNLESS they’re in legends, UNLESS they hit 100%. It wasn’t always like this—this is not just the dev’s fault but also the casual whose ego was artificially inflated over the last two years.

@yosuashin I suppose that is true, having three stars be incredibly rare is better for competitive play, however its not healthy for the game as a whole. I think if this is going to work, something needs to change with legends to allow casuals to be in it, but to give pros their own space.

@yosuashin In terms of army variety, and bases i would agree, but game difficulty wise it was WAY too hard, even pros didnt like the difficulty.

@toadstar0 It was the best meta ever, because it produced a correct hierarchy of players. Just because the majority didn’t like it, doesn’t mean it’s wrong. Just take a look at history

@yosuashin I think ranked itself is a complete mess and isnt the direction the game should have gone. A high 2 star isnt rewarding, it feels like a loss, which it is for ranked and wars. The whole point is to 3 star your opponent, that should feel rewarding.

@yosuashin I dont really agree with this. The worst meta by far was town hall 15, players were so frustrated with the game clash almost died. That's where the rebalance happened, the game became much easier (which was a success) th16 was easy th17 was decent. Th18 is repeating th15s problem
