🚨Michael Carrick is giving the players freedom and play where you are best mentality but what about the intensity? Our intensity since he arrived and since that Manchester City game has drastically dropped. You can’t compare the way these players play and the way they played under Ruben Amorim. We need that intensity, we need that pressing. Michael Carrick has no standard and it is why Marcus Rashford would survive under him because he’s always giving that freedom to do whatever you know how to do best and whatever you like. That is not an Elite Coach’s mentality. We need to press aggressively, we need to hold ball and convert changes. Michael Carrick should not be our permanent coach. ‼️

This team has shown growth, character, and serious mentality. You don’t lead the league for this long if you’re not doing something right. One result doesn’t erase months of dominance. To the fans this is where backing this team actually matters. Not when it’s easy, but right now. If Arsenal wasn’t a threat all of you laughing wouldn’t be this loud. Nobody obsesses over a team that’s irrelevant. The noise is coming from fear, not banter. Because deep down, you know what this means Arsenal are not chasing anymore we are being chased. Today is a setback. Not the story. The league is still coming to Emirate. COYG ❤️🏆

Disappointed with the loss, but the battle is on. The Arsenal boys need to relax, regroup, reorganize, and come back stronger. With the quality of this Arsenal team, being the best, I’m sure they will give their all now. It’s down to the mentality. The Arsenal will be back. 💪

My very own constituency, the Obidient Movement, failed me. The Movement I risked everything for failed me. You failed me at my lowest moment. The voices I expected to speak for me and rally around me went cold. Well, you are humans. May the will of God be done.

I disappeared from Twitter (X) for few years and no, it wasn’t because I quit. We all know that winners don't quit. At my peak, life was sweet. Great corporate job, earning good pay with huge commissions here in Dubai, UAE 🇦🇪 I was even doing giveaways for fun. “Twitter Sugarmummy” days. Good times. But life in diaspora ? Whole different level. Dubai changed the pace of my life completely. Different time zones, back-to-back flights, meetings, multiple countries visit, long nights, setting out early mornings… repeat. Some days I was too exhausted to even open this app. There were moments I even questioned if all the hustle was worth it but I kept choosing growth over noise and honestly it was worth. The work stretched me, exposed me to bigger opportunities, and before I knew it, months turned into years. But now, I’m in a much better space. Still in Dubai, still winning but just with more balance and more clarity. Finally have time to enjoy this space again. Missed this dramatic space and my real ones who kept checking in ❤️ I’m Back.

Chelsea vs Manchester United are playing today, none of their fans really care, but once it’s Arsenal’s match, you see them all coming out of their shells, analysing tactics, talking about entertaining football, LOL. How the mighty have fallen 😂😂😂.

The Republic Of Benin conducted its election peacefully and the winner emerged without rancour. No violence,no threats to burn down the country,no threats to break or tear down the country,no invitation for the US or EU to ‘come and rescue’ the country,No going to Court and seeking permission ‘to inspect ballot papers’,No vote rigging, vote buying, vote selling or vote hawking,No ethnic irredentists, bigots or religious chauvinists and champions moving about with anger and Swords. There are moments and situations were bigger countries can learn from smaller countries.

This isn’t confusion; it’s a deliberate oversimplification. By framing it as “support vs hate,” you avoid engaging with the underlying reasons behind Peter Obi’s support. Sina, you know what you are doing.
The_Bearded_Dr_Sina@the_beardedsina

Okay... I really don't understand the TL So if someone doesn't support your candidate, the person doesn't want Nigeria to progress? So if someone doesn't support Peter Obi, the person is an enemy of progress and hater of Nigeria? Is that what it is now?

Imagine you work in a company where you earn ₦75,000 monthly. You have a wife. Two kids. Responsibilities everywhere. Every month is survival mode. Then one day, a new CEO comes in. He reviews the system, blocks leakages, fixes what was broken and suddenly, the company starts making more money. Next thing, he announces: Your salary is increased five times. On top of that, new welfare packages are introduced: Your children’s school fees are supported You get healthcare access Food support is added For the first time, life feels a bit easier. Now here’s where it gets interesting… You have a friend in another company— he earns ₦1m, even more. That friend represents somewhere like Lagos State a place that has always had higher revenue, stronger systems, and more internally generated income. Now, compared to him, you’re still not there yet. But pause for a second Would you say nothing has changed in your life? Would you reject your own progress simply because Lagos is still ahead? This is where many people miss the point. Because this is not just a story. This is Nigeria from my perspective. The new CEO represents the President. The salary increase represents increased allocations to state governments. The welfare package represents what is going to local governments. So yes Lagos may still be ahead. But that does not cancel the fact that more resources are now coming in across the board. Which brings us to the real issue: If more money is coming in… Why are people not feeling it? If your salary increased and your life is still hard… If welfare was introduced and nothing has changed… Then maybe the problem is not the CEO. Maybe the problem is what is happening at your own level. Hold your governors accountable. Hold your local governments accountable. Because Lagos didn’t become Lagos by excuses it became Lagos by structure, systems, and responsibility. And progress is not about who is ahead of you. It’s about whether your own situation is improving. WHO IS YOUR GOVERNOR WHO IS YOUR LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN Alabi Opeyemi Oladimeji
