I bought a pair of Birkenstocks. They are SO uncomfortable. I've read they need breaking in, but is it normal for them to be this bad at first?

@KarenKimberly_ 100% HATED mine at first. Took me a solid 1h/day of wear for 2 weeks before I could wear them out for 1/2 days at a time. Once they’re yours, they’re your favourites.

So after a crazy couple of weeks before & after Christmas our class finally did our sock exchange yesterday. All were such good sports about Christmas socks in January! These kids are so awesome.
