@tragicgrll both things can be true. just because you have it bad (and i sympathize with that) doesn't mean that someone who's also suffering with the same condition's feelings are invalid. everyone has problems. some are bigger than others.

Hypersexuality being always sexualized asf infuriates me so so bad in a way that it almost hurt. It’s not a fun kink or just a gooning meme it’s a fucking exhausting condition that ruined my peace of mind and my relationships. I always feel that i dont have self-respect and that i dont deserve it. I live it everyday with constant intrusive thoughts and no off switch with a shame that never leaves. What also pisses me off most is how heavily it gets sexualized and ESPECIALLY by cis men who claim they “want a hypersexual girl” as their fantasy. No u fucking don’t. You romanticize the fantasy version but the reality is with all the obsession the distress and the way it controls u would overwhelm and disappoint most of you. Stop turning a serious trauma response into damn porn trope. This isn’t hot. It’s just hell for the one who live it. Please take care of you ❤️
