yall cry canon accuracy & then crop clips to lie. in the complete dialogue there's a exclamation sign (ending the sentence) & then in a whole new one there's a comma: he's saying he doesn't know why he cares about what she thinks of him, not that he doesn't know why she hates him

@trglb there's no switch lmao "she hates me" is a sentence, and "and i don't know why, but i do care what she thinks of me" is another, tonal exclamation is not the same as a sentence ending exclamation. the one in the first is to end the sentence, and the second one is to give emphasis

@trglb he didn't say she projected her anger on him, he said she connected both angers into one, which is a whole different thing. he's making theories based on what she told him because he wants to understand the full context, that's why he asks sokka, it doesn't stay an assumption
