Thanks to the people who alerted me to this: The World Bank EduTech blog (blogs.worldbank.org/edutech) does indeed appear to have been deleted, including all individual posts/essays and seven annual compendia, from the World Bank web site.

The Twitter account that I opened 15 years ago for the World Bank's #edtech program, @WBedutech, has now been closed; the archive will remain. Thanks to the 18k+ subscribers with whom we interacted over the years. Follow @WBG_Education for news on the World Bank's edtech work.

@DaveEvansPhD You might also look for a specific functionality that is included in an EMIS or SIS (or something similar), as EMIS/SIS can mean different things to different people, or even the same thing -- and maybe the functionality you are looking for is in another tool

@DaveEvansPhD You might want to look for studies that purport to examine the 'impact' of 'student information systems' (or 'SIS'), and not just of EMIS.

Has anyone tried to measure the impact of introducing/improving Education Management Information Systems (EMIS) on student outcomes--either participation outcomes or learning outcomes? I'd be interested in studies in any context (i.e., high-income, middle-income, low-income).

I *love* it when a UNESCO document emphasizes that the views are those of the authors but then doesn't list any individual authors.
