Another good example of how the US whitewashed its war crimes through propaganda movies.
"Nonono, drop the weapon kid. I just killed your father, I don’t want to kill you again…" WTF
Li Zexin 李泽欣@XH_Lee23
It’s even crazier in US movies that invaders are portrayed as "I’m sad that I have no choice but to kill your whole family in your country."

When a person humbles himself completely, God elevates him in a way that no one can imagine.
Saint Mary of Egypt received Holy Communion only once in her life. She stands as an example of repentance and as a flower in the desert of sin before the great events of our Lord's Holy Week.
There are people who take communion every Sunday and have become like demons or have not changed at all.
This teaches us that the Holy Communion is not a magic tool that works automatically only through physical participation in the Eucharistic Mystery.
The question is not to open our mouths to the Holy Grail, but to open our hearts and our whole being to Christ.
When we say communion between God and man, we do not accept it according to what it tells us, but in fullness. Many become complacent because they take communion often, thinking that nothing else is necessary; others go to the extreme and take communion only at Passover, saying, “ust so as not to have nothing!” as they express themselves.
Therefore, the question is not whether we participate, but how we participate.
We receive the Body and Blood of Christ as our spiritual fathers’ instructs us, so that we do not fall.

We Orthodox Christians do not pray to icons, nor do we believe icons "save" us.
Icons are holy images that lift our minds and hearts to the persons they depict: Christ, the Theotokos, and the Saints. We venerate (honor) them with respect and love, just as we might kiss a photo of a loved one. The honor passes to the prototype—the real person—not the wood and paint.
Salvation comes from Christ alone—through His Cross, Resurrection, and the life of the Church. Icons simply help us pray. They remind us of the Incarnation: God became visible in the flesh, so we can depict Him.
No magic. No idolatry. Just love and remembrance.

I don't think people understand the gravity of the situation as the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use in Iran.
This is a picture of Tehran. For you uneducated, untraveled, never-served, warhawks licking your chops at the thought of bombing it. It's not some low population desert. There are families, children, family pets. Regular working class people with dreams. You're sick to want war.
Tehran is a city of nearly 10,000,000 people. Imagine nuking Washington, Berlin, Paris, London, or beyond, bombed with nuclear weapons.
I gave up my diplomatic career to leak this information. I suspended my duties so as not to be part of or a witness to this crime against humanity, in an attempt to prevent a nuclear winter before it is too late.
Yesterday, nearly ten million people protested “No Kings” in the United States. The possibility of the use of nuclear weapons must be taken very seriously. It's dangerous. Act now. Spread this message worldwide. Take the streets. Protest for our humanity and future. Only the people can stop it. History will remember us.

Israeli police prevented the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Head of the Catholic Church in the Holy Land, from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulchre to celebrate Palm Sunday Mass.
This is the first time in centuries that the heads of the Church were barred from celebrating Palm Sunday Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

🚨 Official count confirmed:
More than 8 million people participated in No Kings Day today.
One of the largest single-day demonstrations in American history.
3,000 cities. Every state. Every coast.
Philadelphia. Atlanta. Dallas. St. Paul. DC. San Francisco. San Diego. New York. London. Tel Aviv. Scotland.
And counting.
To put 8 million in context:
The Women’s March in 2017 — the previous record — drew an estimated 3-5 million.
Today more than doubled it.
8 million Americans didn’t just protest today.
They sent a message that cannot be ignored, cannot be dismissed, and cannot be spun.
The founders settled the kings question in 1776.
8 million Americans settled it again today.
