@Adebayoadesanya 😂. I never realised most sports don’t usually end in a draw. However, I’m beginning to think we need a football where clear winners and losers emerge.

Just had one of my biggest cultural shocks in Canada 🇨🇦😂 I had to explain to my colleagues that a football match ended in a DRAW. Canada 🇨🇦 1–1 Bosnia 🇧🇦 yesterday and they were genuinely confused 😭 They kept asking: “So… nobody wins?? But here’s what really shocked ME: Almost every sport in the world doesn't end in draws except for Boxing/UFC And then it hit me… Are draws in football actually a smart strategy… or just boring nonsense we’ve all accepted?

In 2013, João Cancelo’s mother Filomena was killed in a tragic car accident. 🥺 Cancelo, who was 18 years old, and his younger brother, who was only 8, survived the crash. “It was a matter of milliseconds that changed my life forever,” he told Alta Definição. “I remember some things. I remember my mother’s final scream. I remember my brother crying — he was still just a child, 8 years old.” “I tried to lift the car to get my mother out from underneath it, but I couldn’t. I just couldn’t.” “Everything was so dark. We were off the highway, down an embankment. I tried with all my strength to lift the car, but it was impossible. Lifting a car is simply impossible.” Sending love and strength to you, João ❤️🙏

FIFA Facts That Hit Like a Red Card: 1. Brazil is the only nation to have played in every single FIFA World Cup, all 22 editions from 1930 to 2022, never missing a single one. 2. The ball used in the 2010 World Cup (the Jabulani) was so aerodynamically unpredictable that goalkeepers across the tournament compared it to a "plastic bag in the wind." 3. Messi holds a record 8 Ballon d'Or awards, more than the combined total of most entire national teams have won major international trophies. 4. A professional footballer makes over 1,000 individual decisions per game, most in under half a second. 5. The fastest player speed recorded in the Premier League is 37.38 km/h, set by Micky van de Ven, and players hit these speeds mid-match, under fatigue, in real competitive pressure. 6. Cristiano Ronaldo became the first individual in history to surpass 1 billion social media followers. His Instagram alone has over 639 million, more than the combined populations of the US, UK, and Germany. 7. The net behind a goal is not required by the Laws of the Game. It's technically optional. 8. India qualified for the 1950 World Cup but withdrew, not because FIFA banned barefoot play as the myth claims, but due to funding issues, logistical chaos, and the AIFF simply not prioritising the tournament over the Olympics. 9. A goalkeeper defending a penalty has to dive before the ball is struck. The human eye simply cannot react fast enough afterward. 10. The entire Laws of the Game that govern football worldwide fit into a document shorter than most corporate employee handbooks. 11. Paul Pogba's 2016 transfer fee of €105 million was, at the time, larger than the entire annual GDP of several small island nations. 12. In high-altitude stadiums like La Paz, Bolivia (3,600m), the ball travels measurably faster and farther. Visiting teams have called it "physically impossible" to play there. 13. The World Cup trophy cannot be kept by the winning nation. They receive a gold-plated replica. The real one stays with FIFA permanently. 14. A football player runs on average 10–13 km per match, the equivalent of running two 5K races back to back, while sprinting, tackling, and thinking tactically the whole time. 15. A football pitch's grass is cut to exactly 25–30mm for top matches. Groundskeepers spend more preparation time on the surface than most fans ever notice. 16. During a penalty shootout, players' heart rates can exceed 180 bpm, the same as a full sprint, while standing completely still. 17. The first World Cup in 1930 had no qualification rounds. Countries were simply invited, and several said no because the boat trip to Uruguay was too long. 18. VAR can detect an offside by a margin of just a few centimetres, roughly the width of a thumb, and disallow a goal scored from 70 metres away. 19. Some Premier League clubs generate more revenue on a single matchday than entire national football federations earn in a full year. 20. The fastest goal in World Cup history was scored by Turkey's Hakan Şükür, just 11 seconds into the third-place match against South Korea in 2002. Most fans in the stadium hadn't even found their seats.

@Kacjusz17 @McFlybowy Yes 7 matches once in 4 years. That every player dreams of playing. I remember one certain player claiming in an interview with Piers Morgan b4 the 2022 world cup that it would be a dream to win it. Very inconsistent fanbase

Only Messi fans want to force everyone to accept one player is better, that’s how you know it’s not true. You people think football is just close control, dribbling in tight spaces, playmaking in between lines, maybe that Messi is the most naturally gifted player ever. But Ronaldo didn’t just succeed in one system or one type of football. He dominated in England, Spain, and Italy three very different leagues tactically. He’s doing the same at Saudi Arabia a different continent at 40. And Not just “did well,” but top scorer, best player, main man everywhere. The argument is that if you drop him into any football ecosystem fast league, tactical league, counterattacking team, possession team, he still becomes the focal point and produces. Now let’s go into “Football Mechanics”, not legacy, not mentality or trophies. There’s nobody born of Man that plays football that Strikes the ball better than Ronaldo, Right leg, Weak foot, Headers. He has the best legs. If Messi excel in playmaking, there’s nobody that moves better than Ronaldo. Movement and Positioning. Then let’s go into “big game personality” argument. Take a look at Champions League knockout stages where the level rises and he doesn’t just participate, he escalates. Late goals, hat-tricks against elite opposition. The belief is simple, when the pressure is highest and everyone tightens up, Ronaldo becomes more decisive, not less. He’s inevitable. Mr Talk and Do. Then there’s versatility in roles, not just longevity. He started as a flashy winger doing skills and beating players 1v1. Then became a penalty-box striker. Then a pure finisher. Then a header machine. Then a “give me one chance and I’ll score” player. Very few players completely reinvent themselves while staying world-class for over a decade. Then there’s “repeatability.” Messi might give you genius moments that feel supernatural. But Ronaldo gives you certainty. Not magic every time, but guaranteed output. goals in different ways, against different opponents, under different managers. Left foot, right foot, header, tap-in, counterattack, no dependency on a single system or partner. Then there’s international football, Messi had Argentina built around him with generations of elite talent eventually peaking together, while Ronaldo dragged Portugal through eras where the squad quality was not comparable to Spain, Brazil, France, etc. And still delivered trophies like Euro 2016 and Nations League, being the face of those runs. Finally, the mentality argument, not just “he works hard,” He imposes himself on eras. Wherever football goes tactically, physically, or stylistically, he adapts and remains relevant at the top level. That’s why you’ll hear us say “he conquered football,” not just “he played well.” There’s nobody born of Man that plays Football better than Cristiano Dos Santos Aveiro Ororo Ronaldo.
𝐿.@lebzygold

Can a Ronaldo fan actually explain to me why they think that man is better than Messi? Like, I genuinely just don’t understand it. It doesn’t make sense to me how you can watch football regularly and come to that conclusion.

@BantsSzn @AsapGetit Most complete player is not about physique, its about output. Its not about who's a better athlete. Its about who has better numbers. Who has better numbers? I don't care if you score eith your head, right or left foot. It counts as one goal.

@McFlybowy What else can Ronaldo do on the pitch currently if he is not at the end of a pass or a cross? He cannot attempt 5 take ons in a game. He can't create 5 chances in a game, He can't press. What can he do when he's not running to tap in a goal or nod a ball? What exactly can he do?

@McFlybowy CR7 himself said it earlier. Winning the world cup is the pinnacle of football. He later contradicted himself as usual. But please don't compare winning the UCL to the World Cup, they're not the same level. There are 7 champions league tournaments on Earth but only 1 WC

@McFlybowy When you check the greatest players of all time. Majority of them have a lot in common "Close control, dribbling in tight spaces, playmaking inbetween the lines" dyou know why? Those are the hardest things to do on a football pitch.
