@scholar_ximara @fan_a_tink This has ALWAYS bothered me so badly. I adore my pets. And especially when you’re forced to make the humane decision for them (I lost a cat just over a week ago, even), the idea that you’re simply ENDING them is… it’s horrifying.

@que_sarrat Me too at this point. I used to do all of my business & fundraising here. But I’d just gotten into the LuciFam when this place got sniped, and I didn’t want to lose any of the new awesome writers and artists (like you!). So I stayed.

Finally, not a thread per se, but a request. It's 27 and snowing; the wind chill is 17. That wind chill will get near zero overnight. Our population of local folks who are unhoused is growing literally daily here. Forced out by a new wave of colonizer greed. People will die.
