@lyhowcreate You plan on holding this long term or trying to take profits hopefully when it hits the market?
English

@lyhowcreate @Mapago9 Gotcha, how do you go about selling? Are you taking gains on $GOOG $TSLA etc?
Trying to learn better timings to maximize gains.
Or are you holding these long term?
English

@tylerobuilds @Mapago9 I don’t time it. I buy it when it drops. And I view it as a “discount” every time when it drops
English

@lyhowcreate @Mapago9 How much lower do you think $GOOGL dips here? Are you actively buying it or waiting for it to dip more?
English

@lyhowcreate Fair. Assuming you’re more of a long term investor then. Thoughts on $MRVL?
English

I don't. For any stock I own, I ask myself two questions:
1) If the price drops, would I sell it to cut my losses?
2) If the price rises, would I sell it to realize my gains?
If the answer to both questions is no, then I have confidence in the business and the stock, and I'm willing to hold it for the long term.

@mdnghtmss Definitely gotta find the right balance.
Any advice on a good split for DCA VS chasing a runner?

IF YOU ARE IN YOUR 20s YOU SHOULD STOP INVESTING BY NOW!
…or at least stop calling this a “normal” market.
We’re seeing big stocks move +30–40% on single days.
That’s not investing that’s an overheated market.
That’s not healthy.
This isn’t long-term investing conditions.
This is momentum, liquidity, and speculation on steroids.
DCA still works long-term.
No question.
But blindly buying into hype?
Worth thinking twice.
• Hold cash when risk is mispriced
• Take profits (yes, you’re allowed to)
• Rotate into ignored sectors
• Barbell: safe + high conviction
Your 20s advantage isn’t just time.
It’s the ability to think clearly while others chase.
Are you still DCA’ing no matter what
or adjusting based on market conditions?

@cmsinvests Him. What do you use to convert CAD to USD when buying stocks? Do you use the regular conversion rate or norbert's gambit feature?
English

@lyhowcreate Are you using the norbert's gambit feature on wealthsimple to convert CAD to USD or just using the regular conversion rate?
English

@lyhowcreate Just started DCA into my non-registered and have just been making $QQC.TO buys.
Trying to tap into individual stocks soon too for higher returns.
English

@ReaUserZero My major holdings are $TSLA and $VFV.TO, but I’m shifting toward individual stocks for higher returns.
I hold both ETFs and individual stocks in my non-registered account.
English

@ChizaramNelo What individuals stock do you recommend? Also thought's on DCA into $QQC.TO in non registered after registered accounts are maxed?

@Garfieldisdoc i got denied a while back from the fast track program. Is there a way to a re-apply and get past the waitlist screen?
English

@chhddavid how do you make the recording pan in and out so smooth?
