Call me weird, but this year I’m working on one thing and that’s staying quiet. I’m emotional, and when my feelings get hurt, I react too fast and too much. I’m learning that silence is powerful, peace is everything, and not everything deserves a reaction. Some things just aren’t worth it. when i vent. I tell both sides. I never just tell my side cause I always wanna know if I'm tripping or not. I'm not venting for you to be on my side. I'm venting for another point of view.

Being a self aware person doesn't mean i view myself as a good person. i think a lot of people get that confused. it literally means that i am vigilant of both my light and dark side. i have also made peace with my flaws even though i'm always working through them.

Couples in HEALTHY relationships also argue, have different opinions, feel frustrated, insecure and bored at times. Healthy doesn't mean perfect. What makes a relationship perfect is HOW you choose to move through those challenges TOGETHER.

idk who needs to hear this but the sooner you realize you’re not addicted to THINGS (food, substances, people) but FEELINGS (euphoria, clarity, motivation, belonging) you can replace your vices with healthy alternatives that achieve the same (if not more prolonged) results.
