I went on a date tonight to a putput place with the MIT guy who challenged me to a mental long division competition and then at 9:50 he asked if I wanted to leave putput early to go to the grocery store before it closed at 11 because he needed to buy some things and then we got accosted by a pentecostal giving out pamphlets when we were leaving the store, and I got in an argument with him about sola scriptura and then on the way home dropping me off my date and I got into a disagreement about H-1B. And then when he dropped me off he asked if he could see my house and I said yes and he started inspecting my house and commenting on the contents of my fridge and then he started talking to me about the S&P 500 and how he’s going to go home and do some research on stocks. I am literally going to end it all because what the fuck 😭

@kitten_beloved I had a fairly easy job search about 5-6 months ago for senior EE/HW roles. 3 offers about a month after I started searching, probably applied to under 10 positions. I don’t know how representative that is, obvs.

@growing_daniel Happy atheist here in a fulfilling career, with fulfilling hobbies, and a fulfilling relationship. Literally don’t know what you’re on about, unless maybe engagement farming.

People have known atheism to be cringe for some time. What is now more clear is that atheists are either miserable or disassociated, living tragic lives or lives devoid of passion and true feeling. So atheism is clearly wrong if the question is happiness.
