As people come to realise how deeply embedded the zionist project is in the Anglo-American imperialist machinery, they become prey to the idea, promoted to create confusion among those who seek to resist, that it is Israel that controls the USA and Britain, and that the mechanism for doing so is an all-powerful ‘zionist lobby’. This is a profoundly wrong conception. How could Israel, with it tiny population and tiny economy (which only achieves ‘European’ levels of existence for its jewish population through direct and indirect US subsidies) achieve so much importance? What is the source of its apparently unlimited funding? None other than Anglo-American finance capital. It suited the Brits and now suits the Americans to pretend that they had/have no control over Israel, but the truth is just the opposite: Israel could not exist for a day without the US green light/red carpet/arms and money. Those who consider this analysis to be a ‘western Marxist’ imposition onto the middle east would do well to consider the fact that the older generation of Arab liberation fighters all took this for granted, no matter what their political or religious beliefs. Every true anti-imperialist across the region knew it. They saw it. They lived it. And it shaped their outlook and strategy. The ultimate enemy of the peoples of the region is Anglo-American imperialism. Their primary (but by no means only!) tool for controlling the region is zionist Israel. To defeat zionism, we must learn to truly understand the global economic system of capitalist imperialism. organising ourselves and shaping our programme, strategy and tactics on the basis of this knowledge.

Just a heads up, anyone telling Black and other People of Colour not to run from violent nazis intent on kidnapping and falsely imprisoning them in inhumane conditions in for profit concentrations camps is not for the people. They're for the system.

Every revolutionary who defies Western interests is branded a terrorist. Every death-squad dictator who guards Western interests is called an ally. This is not hypocrisy; it is the operating manual of imperialism.

Zahran Mamdani’s campaign is one of the most effective cases of counterinsurgency in recent memory. In a matter of months, the same people who lauded student encampments as the peak of Palestine solidarity are now celebrating a mayor who rewarded the police commissioner who cracked the skulls of these protesters. We need to study and identify the way counterinsurgency works in liberal politics. The state doesn’t just crush these movements, it absorbs them, rebrands them, and calls it progress.

Publish anyway. It isn't even a real threat. Theyre saying they'll "review and take appropriate action." Let them retaliate, then fight them when they do, in court and in public. Do the right thing and take the hit. Don't self censor at the slightest hint of repression.

Police in the US are an extra governmental institution of class domination. They don't answer to elections. They answer to the ruling class organized thru capital firms (developers, corporations, etc.) They're literally immune to accountability except to those interests.

ppl comparing mamdani's win to obama's are closer than they realize in that each are maneuvers to use "representation" exclusively to rehabilitate the democratic party & faith in the usa & electoral politics. your "joy" is the fabric that weaves together counter-revolution.

@GbombM75819 Obama said this same thing. Do you not see how Mamdani's path precludes the development of that movement outside city hall? It is hypocrisy to both demobilize anti-institutional politics and then blame your opportunism in office on the lack of mobilization from the streets.

Our cause must be defended against these attacks if we are to protect our ability to organize around these values at all. It's this or acquiesce to the narratives and institutional structures of collaboration, which are the organizational basis of Mamdani & the social democrats.

Those of us opposed to capitalist immiseration of the natural world & imperialist genocide can't afford to be confused here. There are fundamentally different narratives & politics at play. There is either resistance or collaboration. The two cannot live in the same mvt.

The Mamdani campaign and its narrative aftermath are an exercise in counterinsurgency – they are being used to co-opt resistance narratives and political passions back into institutional paths and narratives. It is pacification. 🧵
