Dickinson county K-9 units and Herington Police department conducted a sweep for illegal substances at Herington High school this morning.

I would like to inform you, due to the high heat index expected the next couple of days, our coaches are adjusting practices to allow for extra water breaks, cool down times, and reduced conditioning. Please stress the importance of hydration to your student athlete.

Middle School Football equipment checkout will take place Friday the 16th after school at 1:00pm. MS Football parent meeting will take place Monday the 19th at 5:30pm in the Elementary lunch room.

We have an amazing community! Multiple boxes of school supplies have been donated in the past two days. A huge thank you to First National Bank of Hope and Pizza Hut for collecting these donations! We will be dispersing these supplies to students in all three buildings.

Getting ready for a morning of State Officer led workshops at FBLA Summer Leadership Conference. Carrie Roe will be presenting at several sessions.

Carrie Roe, Emma Alt, Megan Mortensen and Adviser, Lisa Beye are spending two days in Manhattan attending the FBLA Summer Leadership Seminar. FBLA students around the state are attending workshops and leadership sessions.
