Taught my son that he is 100% responsible for preventing pregnancy. It’s your bodily fluid that causes pregnancy— so it’s your responsibility to keep it to yourself. A lot of you fathers missed this part of “the talk”

Men write violence, domination, murder, war, torture ALL the time and it’s treated as gritty and serious. The second we write about gendered violence, suddenly it’s framed as indulgent or suspect. That double standard is doing a lotttt of work there

We’ve lost the art of just being like “hey man that was kinda uncool.” Everything has to be the biggest deal ever and people have to be groveling begging for forgiveness and apologizing profusely for every little thing. Sometimes a “yeah that was uncool my fault guys” is enough

Police don’t prevent crime. They show up after it happens. Crime prevention starts with funding social programs and creating opportunity.

You do not earn a billion dollars. You steal it. Nobody works a billion times harder than a nurse, a teacher, or a farmer. That money comes from underpaying the people who actually did the work. Stop worshipping hoarders who are just really good at wage theft.

We’re raised to believe the man “carries the bloodline” because of his last name. But biologically, that’s not how it works. Mitochondrial DNA the part of you that powers every cell is passed only from your mother, unchanged, generation after generation and only a female can pass it forward. So while names shift and change, the only lineage that truly never breaks is a woman.

The same thing happens with fashion. Sewing and liking fashion are seen as feminine activities, but 99% of the great designers are men. It's only "a girl's thing" if she's not financially rewarded for it.

From 1932 to 1945 during WWII, The Imperial Japanese Army set up “comfort stations” where they forced tens of thousands of women and girls, mostly from Korea, China, Philippines, and other occupied areas into sexual slavery for soldiers. Many were teenagers lured with fake job offers or straight-up kidnapped. They faced repeated rape, beatings, and disease in brutal conditions. People believe the number goes up to 200,000 or even more; many never survived or recovered. It was government-organized violence against women on a massive scale.

women joke (because they still befriend and see men as people) about hating men. men design elaborate mechanisms to mutilate, torture, and murder women because they see them as less than human. but misandry and misogyny are equally terrible and horrifying i guess.
