Poor woman!
Looters entered her house, tied her up, killed her husband, and ran away with valuables.
What tragedy! Imagine the horror of living with the memory of her husband being killed in her presence.
Then the police checked her house to see what other valuables the killers had taken and found that the items she claimed were missing were actually hidden in her room.
The police dug deeper and discovered that she only had planned the murder with the help of her lover, paying ₹1 lakh to a contract killer.

It was very easy to convert Tamilians, Malayalees, Bangalees, North Indians, Konkanis & NE people. Hence mother tongue of those converted population is same as prominent language of their respective states.
Kannada, Telugu and Marathi tribes were historically very strong and hardly undergone religion conversion. Very very less. They faced maximum atrocities, genocides and attacks of North Indian Converted Migrant Armies in the history, sacrificed life due to brutal torture but avoided Conversion. That's the reason we notice mother tongue of people of Non-Indian Religions in KA,MH,AP,TS are not Kannada, Telugu or Marathi.
But In recent past, Telugus are being converted a lot. Hope they realise and comeback.
PS: it's a opinion about "Mother Tongue" Vs Religion, not about knowing, learnt or expertise of any language. Even after 100 yrs of migration, mother tongue may remain same for majority of people.
