@Loonytune111 Depends on what we mean by “new normal”, yes. It’s perhaps an unhelpful phrase as it means something different to everyone. Of course the positive elements you mention are things I would want to embrace too. :-)

@vickybeeching If new normal includes greater awareness of communicable disease, health care, poverty v. privilege, and allows me legit reasons to avoid people then I’m in. Don’t forget that the Black Plague led to the creation of paper. That’s comforting right?

@cmackinlay @vickybeeching Not saying I agree completely but glad you are saying about the issues around worship.It seems so wrong after all we've had to do as churches to make ourselves COVID Secure that it seems our leaders weren't even consulted about it.

I voted against #Lockdown2 this afternoon. I did not feel the human and financial cost of another closedown of the economy had been properly considered & also much wrong with the regulations #Golf #Worship and the #Wilkinsons conundrum of closing non-essential shops #SouthThanet
