My happy Newcomers are learning color words, early literacy skills of reading , writing, and labeling . They were very proud of working on their countries’ flags.

My ESL students are studying Across Genres, and we happened to learn about drinking tea cultural traditions. A Tea Party idea was born and today we actually enjoyed tea and sweets from students’ countries!

The best Summer School ever just ended! It was so much fun teaching a very diverse group of Newcomers! Engaging curriculum that emphasized academic vocabulary, interesting field trips, wonderful students , colleagues and administration made our Summer School the best!❤️
