I cannot but take pause to post my tributes to the Captain - Captain Vijayakanth #RIPCapitan He was a unique success story as an actor & politician unlike the rest of the stars of the Tamil movie industry. I admire him for so many things. I don’t think there is any modern day leader who is as courageous as him. When he entered politics & when I was seeing some of the early interviews he gave for the first time I was in awe of a person coming to politics speaking with so much maturity & calmness & intelligence. Never knew this side of him till then. Beyond everything else just listening to the countless stories of change in Serving Hot Food (Equal hot food from the lowest level staff to the movie stars on the sets) for the workers of the movie set in his movies was just heart warming & inspiring for any person who is in a position to be able to give good food to everyone around them. After all, that’s one basic need for the low level workers that gets forgotten by most people with money. It was sad to see him in the state he was for the last few years. For all the good things he had done & all his hard work and all his success in the movies, it was very sad to see him suffer like that in the last few years. Hopefully he finds peace now & his soul is blessed by all his good deeds. Rest in Peace Dear Captain.
