@NMIXXOLOGIST Thanks for the clarification I posted more to express my hesitancy for fear of indies like this falling into the hands of execs but I still hold the sentiment that not everything needs to be interconnected / followed-up but I’m just a consumer expressing my opinion

@vinyldanyl this is mostly because of the way the industry at large favors widely recognized ip as opposed to anything new. the distinction between conglomerate owned ip and independent ip is more important than ever

@geekostylefun @msives_r My implication here is that I do not want a standalone story to become some sort of MCU - granted I don’t think the director is that incompetent - but I’m just expressing my franchise fatigue :)
