@stationmum101 Yes, apparently I’m often on ‘holidays’ when I’m away participating in industry activities. Many are unpaid and not acknowledged. Very frustrating and definitely hit the bottom line negatively. But I’m not good at sitting on the sidelines and getting frustrated with inertia

And her comments got me to thinking - how many others think that industry (any industry) representation and advocacy are just a little jaunt? A social occasion? A hobby for those who have nothing better to do with their time? 3/

@vitibit @RHodlr i'm loving the footage, Liz. needs must and this innovative stuff. I do ponder the cost/benefit/notions of sustainability given the context we live in etc. certainly a marvel of cheap, reliable, on demand energy, at the very least. 👌

anecdotally, I'm hearing of 20% increases in the cost of inputs for grape growers over the last 12 months. 🤔
