Year 5 had a fantastic time at Science Oxford Centre today. We had the opportunity to use the exploration room, use our creativity in a forces workshop and feel captivated in the planetarium. Our children feel inspired! Thank you to all involved @scienceoxford @WexhamPS @M3hatN

Canada had the opportunity to listen to a professional violinst in their music lesson today. She played a mixture of classic and modern songs which enthused the class into learning an instrument. What a delight!🎻 @WexhamPS

As part of our talk for writing lessons, Year 4 have really enjoyed learning about World War 2! Did you know children used to have blue ration books and it was only adults who had brown ones?! #WW2 #talk4writing @WexhamPS

Year 4 had the best time on our trip to the Science Museum! We attended a workshop on the digestive system and explored all levels of the museum! Great end to the Spring term! @WexhamPS

Year 4 started their first step in making Viking Brooches for DT week. We looked at the patterns and designs of brooches and used them as inspiration to come up with own our. We cannot wait to start making them out of clay!🪛 @WexhamPS

Year 4 had a great time at the Viking Workshop today! We took part in a shield wall, we looked at Viking weapons, learnt about which food Vikings ate during that time period, guessing what unusual artefacts were and wrote our names in runes that we got to take home! @WexhamPS

As part of Art Week, Year 4 are focussing on the work of Andy Goldsworthy. Today we sketched the design of 4 leaves. We will then pick one leaf to perfect before transferring it onto our pebbles. We are excited to see how our final pieces turn out!🍁🍂 @WexhamPS @WCPSMexicoClass
